"
My good friend Paula recommended a tranny trip to Barcelona
in Spain after her visit in 97. "The women are so well
dressed and so stylish. As trannies we do not stand out
as 'over dressed' as we might in the UK" she said.
My
partner Lesley visited Barcelona during September 98,
as always I would have liked to go with her but WayOut
is a hard taskmaster. She visited on the week of the 'Merce
Festival'. Every where were cosmopolitan crowds enjoying
traditional and modern street entertainment. On stage
she saw (walk on the wild side) - Lou Reed. Without considering
the opportunities that Barcelona has for "Rare People"
such as myself. Lesley would recommend a trip to the city
just for the architecture, friendly people atmosphere
and the food (Lesley speaks fluent 'food' in every language).
I
was already green with envy and cross to have missed this
trip but when I received the fabulous pictures and advice
from Inmaculada Cagliostro I could have kicked myself.
Barcelona has to be my first stop for a holiday trip.
Make it yours too with Inma's help.".
