Hi, I knew Ron during the 70/80's, such a sweet guy, I went to his flat in Putney, where he altered the dress(bronze) in the middle picture, I loved that dress, I was then known as Martin Russell, I compered a couple of Portchester Hall Balls, Im now living in Phuket, Thailand, with my partner of 21 years, Vincent, I compered some nights at Bishops Waltham Country Club, and he and some friends came down and were Drag Waitresses, great fun, miss him, and Steve Francis and so many more, kisses to them all xx

Now I shall see to it that his name never dies."

"If I could write to Ron in heaven I would write
Dear Ron, You won't remember me but I am honoured to be able to say that I once met you. The occasion was Repartee's 10th Anniversary I was only about 6 months old and it was only my third time out. I remember feeling so scared and so far away from home and then you met me at the door and you seemed so happy to see me that I thought you might of mistaken me for someone else. You really made me feel so welcome. Memories like these seem to me, so clear that they could have been made yesterday. Thank you for making the start of my life so beautiful. We have got a lot to talk about the next time I meet you at heavens door. Always remembered" P.S. I attach my most recent picture cos I am all grown up now.

I would like to leave a tribute
I first went to Rons club in 1999. I was 30 years old. Ron always complemented me on the way I looked. He put his arm around me one night and said hi ya kid how are you. Iwas really devestated to hear Ron had passed away, he was a wonderful guy, and so talented, he will be missed forever, there simply is no replacement he provided entertainment that was fun. Ron was an origional.
