TJP Trading Faces video

In the 8th Tranny Guide I was very pleased to have the contribution of pictures and text from the TJP Trading Faces video. However written articles, even with pictures, can't convey a make-up lesson in the way that video can.

This video centres around a make-up session by Pandora De'Pledge, who has over 17 years of professional experience working at Madame Jo Jo's, in film, theatre and magazines. Pandora draws upon her wealth of experience to demonstrate the amazing results that can be achieved with simple make-up.

Packed with informative narrative, useful tips, computer-generated animations and information pages between each section, 'Trading Faces' represents a complete, polished and entertaining reference tutorial.

TJP Trading Faces CD-ROM
 

This CD-ROM is based on the renowned Trading Faces video, it makes an excellent alternative for those who may not have suitable access to a video player or prefer the privacy of the computer.

The Trading Faces CD-ROM takes all the content from the video, and presents it in 22 seperate video segments. In addition, each section is repeated in a variety of formats to ensure that, whatever specification of computer you have, you can view it. Arranged as a web site, the whole CD content is provided through HTML pages, which can be viewed on just about any computer with a web browser.

The CD-ROM contains video clips in MPEG1 (AVI) and RealMedia formats, both of which are commonly supported on most web browsers. In addition, there is a still picture section with written tutorial narrative to ensure that even low-end computers are catered for. Quite simply, it's the best CD-ROM available on the subject. system requirements:


GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
486 with 8MB RAM and 2xSpeed CDROM drive (still pictures only).
Pentium 100Mhz, 16MB RAM, 4xSpeed CDROM for RealMedia video.
Pentium 200Mhz, 32MB RAM, 4xSpeed CDROM for MPEG video.
Web browser (tested on Netscape 2 updwards, and Microsoft IE 3.1 upwards).

FOR STILL IMAGES:
Any computer processor should be fine.
Single speed CDROM drive, that can read ISO9660 CD-ROMS (ie PC/DOS format).
At least 320 x 200 screen resolution (prefer 640x480, recommend 800x600).
B&W is fine for text, grey scale will be fine for images, prefer 32,000 colours or more for photo-realistic images.
Web browser must be able to read .htm files as HTML pages, and be able to show .jpg JPEG images.

FOR REALMEDIA VIDEO:
Pentium or equivelant CPU running at 100Mhz.
At least 16MB RAM (recommend 32MB).
Double speed CDROM drive as minimum (prefer 4xSpeed, recommend 12xSpeed or greater)
At least 640 x 480 screen resolution (recommend 800x600 or higher).
At least 32,000 (15-bit) colour mode (prefer 24-bit ot 32-bit).
Web browser must be able to read .htm files as HTML pages, and be able to show .jpg JPEG images.
Must have RealPlayer installed (version 5 or higher, or version G2 or higher).
Visit real.com for system requirements for your specific computer.

FOR MPEG VIDEO:
Pentium or equivelant CPU running at 200Mhz.
At least 16MB RAM (recommend 32MB).
Double speed CDROM drive as minimum (prefer 4xSpeed, recommend 12xSpeed or greater).
At least 640 x 480 screen resolution (recommend 800x600 or higher).
At least 32,000 (15-bit) colour mode (prefer 24-bit or 32-bit).
Web browser must be able to read .htm files as HTML pages, and show .jpg JPEG images.
Must have MPEG player installed (ActiveMovie or DirectX on Windows platforms).
Only Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 upwards allows MPEG directly on the HTML page.
For other browsers, a separate window will open, and the video may take a few seconds before starting playback, depending on system speed.
