Richard O'Brien is a patron of the Wallness Childrens Charity.
He worked with (the late) Frank Lammar
for a number of years to harness the power of party people to have a good time
and raise money for this life saving project.
The 2001 Charity Ball raised almost £8500

In 2002 Richard contacted Vicky Lee to harness the WayOut network with the aim to
work together to make the event bigger than ever and trannier than ever.

Richard believes that the tranny community is ready to follow in other minorities footsteps
to be seen to be out proud and helping others while also having a great time.
